SIM808 GPRS GSM GPS Shield

Introduce

  The SIM808 GPRS/GSM+GPS Shield V1.0 is based on the chip named SIM808, it communicate with Catduino Uno via pins(RX, TX) with GPS data and GPRS data. For the operate voltage could either at 3.3V or 5V, it can be totally compatible to the Arduino. It can be also used to making/answering call, sending/receiving SMS messages and local the position. By the way, SIM GPRS/GSM+GPS Shield V1.0 suppose an SIM card holder at the opposite side.

Usage


Plug jump wire hat to the place 2, plug GPS and PSM antena to corresponding place, connect earphone, connect to power. Remember to install a SIM card.




1.Download the following program, open serial monitor, check if the sound and information showed on serial monitor.

2.Serial port output GPS information, antena signal, circuit is normall when signal value more than 25, location will be getted after 30s, there will be a set of information, if fail to locate your location, you’ll get lots of comma and no lacation.
